Pà Cò – Hang Kia village, Hoa Binh
Located about 160 km from Hanoi, Pà Cò and Hang Kia are two highland communities of the Hmong people in Mai Chau District, Hoa Binh Province (now part of Phu Tho province). Surrounded by mountains, forests and clouds, the area is known for its distinctive Hmong culture and long-standing textile traditions, including hemp weaving, indigo dyeing, beeswax batik and embroidery.
Visitors can meet local Hmong artisans, discover the traditional process of making hemp textiles, and learn about techniques such as hemp making, weaving, indigo dyeing, beeswax drawing, and embroidery.
